DeMatha is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to serve as the Director of Christian Service. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of the school’s Christian Service program, including organizing student service opportunities with partner organizations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Director will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local service organizations, coordinate and supervise student service outings, and ensure that students are meaningfully engaged in service that reflects the school’s mission, Trinitarian charism, and Catholic values. The Director will also manage the systems used to track and verify students’ service hours and help guide students in understanding service as an expression of faith, justice, and responsibility to the wider community. The Director will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to foster experiences that contribute to the formation of faith-filled gentlemen and scholars. The position includes teaching two sections, generally in Theology but potentially in another department depending on the candidate’s expertise.
